Families who fall under a certain income bracket had access to all sorts of goodies today at the food bank.
The event started around nine this morning and families were able to pull up in their vehicles fill out paperwork and then collect a box of food.
Food bank employees say they had excess food from USDA which is what prompted this event.
"There's blueberries, orange juice, ice cream, we're also doing some produce as well, um they're 18 to 20 pound boxes and as long as they meet those USDA income guidelines, they are able to come get food," says Wichita Falls Area Food Bank employee Betsi Lujan.
Lujan said about 800 people showed up today.
