Soon, walking, running and cycling won't be the only way you can get familiar with the Wichita Falls Circle Trail.
The 26 mile trail is getting an app.
Wichita Falls - Wichita County Public Health district says its been working on the app since last year.
They say the several thousand dollar project will highlight points of interest on the trail, show detailed maps, explain running and biking etiquette, as well as provide a place to connect with organizations and other people that use the trail.
"Our main goal is to get people moving. To make them aware not only that this trail system exists but by the way it's a great way to commute,” said Will Carter, Transforming Texas' program manager.
The App won't be officially launched until the Wichita Falls Health Fair on April 5th.
It will be available for both iPhones and Androids.
