Tobacco education could soon be coming to Wichita Falls through the health department.

City councilors will be voting on three ordinances Tuesday that will put money into the special revenue fund for a tobacco prevention and control coalition grant.

The total amount of money being voted on is a little less than 300- thousand- dollars and comes from the Texas Department of State Health Services as well as Wichita County.

Councilors will also be discussing four resolutions that deal with upgrades to the soon to be Wichita Falls Regional Airport.

They will cover money for the parking, runway construction and would allow the city manager to apply for a one year re-designation into the Federal Aviation Administration Military Airport Program.
