WICHITA FALLS--A man was arrested early Tuesday morning in Wichita Falls. He's expected to be charged with tampering with evidence.
Around 3 Tuesday morning, Sgt. Chris Foster said an officer saw a car stopped on Kemp. He said when the officer pulled up, the car sped off and there was a man standing on the sidewalk.
When the officer pulled up to talk to the man, the man turned away and started walking off. Foster said the officer told the man to stop, but the man continued to walk away and started digging in his pockets.
The officer drew his weapon and Foster said the man threw a metal object into the drainage ditch near Kocks liquor. That man was arrested, the object has not yet been recovered because of heavy debris in the ditch.
