Wichita Falls, Texas -
A police chase throughout Wichita Falls ends after a car crashes into a tree.
Wichita Falls Police say officers tried to pull over a Dodge Avenger near the Carrigan Career and Technical Center in the 1600 block of Blonde Street but the vehicle took off.
Authorities says they ran the vehicle's tags and but it came back belonging to a different vehicle.
Police say the pursued the vehicle through many different streets.
The chase ended after the Avenger lost control near the corner of 32nd and Bluff Streets and slammed into a tree.
Police say the driver took off on foot but was arrested shortly after.
Two other people in the vehicle were detained and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say possible narcotics were found in the car.
