A man suspected of robbing a Wichita Falls convenience store this afternoon is arrested by police following a short chase.
Police says just after 5 p.m., a white male walked into the Zoom Zoom's #1 convenience store on Seymour Highway armed with a metal pipe.
They say after threatening to hit the clerk, he took an undetermined amount of money from the register, along with some other store items, before running from the store.
Police quickly canvassed the area and an officer saw a man on the street who took off running after he noticed the patrol car, and left a trail of money and store items in the street.
They say that man, identified by police as 19 year old Charles Raybaswell, was caught in the 300 block of Taylor and arrested.
Police say they're looking into whether Raybaswell is connected to the armed robbery of another Seymour Highway convenience store that happened yesterday and Thursday.
Raybaswell is charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest.
