Wichita Falls police have released the name of a burglary suspect who they say is armed and dangerous.

Police say 26 year old Robbie Dodelin was armed when he burglarized a home in the 4500 block of Misty Valley West Thursday evening.

Law enforcement officials say Dodelin fled on foot and that is when the manhunt started.

The Wichita Falls Police Department SWAT team members and Wichita County Sheriff's Deputies have expanded their search for Dodelin in the area north of Memorial Stadium.

At one point Thursday night crews shut down Allendale Road in between Kell and Southwest Parkway so they could thoroughly search that area.

They also requested anyone who lives in the Briargate neighborhood or near the old Certainteed building to stay inside and to lock all windows and doors.

Once again, Dodelin is considered armed and dangerous and officers say he burglarized a home and then fled on foot.

If you have any information on his whereabouts or this crime, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 322-9888.
