This time we headed to our location in front of Berend Brothers on Jacksboro highway to see how long we would wait until someone spotted us.
But it didn't take long before Frances Hoepfner saw us on the side of the road.
"I just whipped around to see what was going on and see if you had anybody yet," said Hoepfner, this week's Pay-it-Forward winner.
Frances is a great-grandmother and it's for that reason she wanted to Pay It Forward to the Food Bank's 'Pack for Kids' program, a program that provides nutritious food for children.
"I just think its a great program and I really have a soft spot for children," Hoepfner said.
And by donating that three hundred dollars to the food bank, Frances is helping many children with one kind act
"This last year we distributed 78,000 bags, we grew 50 percent this last year and were actually projected to distribute over a 103,000 bags this next, over 2014," said Betsi Lujan, representative for Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.
Each one of those more than 100,000 bags contains six small meals, small meals that make a huge difference to local children.
Betsi Lujan says that in Wichita Falls alone, 1 in 4 children are food insecure, meaning that when they go home from school over the weekend they have no idea what or even if they will get to eat.
"We have over 13,000 kids in this area that are food insecure, so I have a feeling that were probably missing a lot more unfortunately," said Lujan.
Lujan said that this program is possible only because of generous people like Frances.
"There are too many kids that are in need of it and without the support of the community and money like this we wouldn't be able to continue," Lujan said.
While three hundred dollars may seem like a drop in a big pond, Frances says a lot of drops can make a big difference.
Betsi said that each of the food bags costs around three dollars which means the three hundred dollar gift from Frances will turn into more than 600 meals for children.
