Woman arrested while working at Bombshells

WICHITA FALLS -

30-year-old Kay Lynn Martin has two counts of assault of an officer, one resisting arrest charge and three drug-related charges.

A police officer reported he went to the Bombshells club on North Scott where Martin worked to serve two county warrants on her.

The officer said he saw Martin sitting on an unknown man's lap and he went to her and took her wrist and told her he was putting her under arrest for the warrants.

He said she ripped her arm free and cursed and told him she wasn't going any where.

The officer said he grabbed her wrist again and she tried to pull away then bit the officer in the arm.

They say she continued to fight and yell and finally they wrestled her to the floor, where they say Martin kicked the other officer.

Last January, Martin was arrested at a Walmart where officers said she had been banned. They say she ran out of the store and hid under a van in the parking lot, and the van drove away, running over her leg.

They say she told them her name was Ashley and Kay Martin was her twin sister.
