Woman Charged with Sexually Assaulting Her Boyfriend's Son is Now in Jail on New Charges

A woman awaiting trial on charges of sexually assaulting her boyfriend's son is now in jail on new charges. Sheila Huffman was out on bond pending trial for sexual assault of a child.

Now she's jailed for new charges of possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone which was morphine-- and possession of a prohibited weapon, a short-barreled firearm.

Huffman is accused of having sex with the boy on two separate occasions in 2014 to quote, "relieve" him. Police say the boy told staff at the juvenile justice center he had been having fantasies about her and he initiated the first sexual encounter by waking her up while she was asleep with his father.

He said his father woke up and saw them, and left the room. The second time he said they had sex in their bed again, but his father never woke up.

Police say Huffman told them she quote "took care of the boy because he needed the release." Huffman is set for trial on the sexual assault charges in July.
