Woman Previously Charged with Sexual Assault of a Child is Indicted on a New charge

A woman previously charged with sexual assault of a child has now been indicted on a new charge. In May, Sheila Huffman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, morphine, and possession of a prohibited weapon, a short-barreled firearm.

However, she has only been indicted on the weapons charge. Huffman is scheduled to go to trial next month after being accused of having sex with the boy on two separate occasions in 2014 .

Police say the boy said he initiated the first sexual encounter by waking her up while she was asleep with his father.

The second time he said they had sex in their bed again. Police say Huffman told them she quote "took care of the boy because he needed the release."
