Woman Who Used Vehicle as a Weapon Against Two Kids Pleads Guilty

A Wichita Falls woman agrees to accept a plea offer and plead guilty in a case of apparent road rage where she used her car as a weapon against two kids on bikes.

38-year old Shannon Sullivan agreed to take a 5-year deferred supervised sentence and a $500 fine on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She will be sentenced at a later date and the agreement provides the judge the option of adding some jail time to the sentence.

The two 15-year-old victims told police they were riding their bikes in the 4800 block of Barnett Road when Sullivan drove by and started yelling at them. The victims said Sullivan then pulled over and got into a fight with one of them, then got back in her car.

They say she drove over the curb and drove so close to one that the teen was trapped against a wall. The other bike rider tried to get Sullivan to let the other teen out and says she sped off and ran over the teen's foot.
