Women in Alleged Robbery Group Face New Charges

- Police say a group of women caught working together to steal items from Dillard's now have new charges.

Seventeen-year-old Patricia Russell and 22-year-old Kuilani Mills-Jackson are now charged with abandoning or endangering a child.

They and a juvenile female were originally arrested and charged with engaging in organized criminal activity for robbery.

Arrest affidavits state on August 19, the three entered Dillard's dressing rooms with arms full of clothing and left with bulging bags.

Two store managers followed the women out of the store.

Officers say the juvenile apparently tried to hand off a 18-month-old child to one of the other women but dropped her face first on the concrete and started assaulting one of the managers.

A witness said none of the three suspects tried to check on or pick up the child while they assaulted the managers.

Russell and Mills-Jackson remain in the Wichita County Jail on more than $75-thousand in bonds each.
