Laid off employees of the Cameron International Manufacturing Plant in Electra will receive counseling and assistance during four sessions presented by Workforce Solutions Wednesday.

The facility announced its closing last week and all 121 employees are being laid off.

Representatives of The Texas Workforce Commission and Workforce Solutions North Texas will meet with employees at the plant tomorrow to provide information about unemployment insurance benefits, opportunities for retraining and possible jobs in other businesses.

At a meeting Monday, representatives of several organizations met to discuss setting up a possible job fair with other potential employers and also on marketing the facility to potential new businesses.
