Downtown Wichita Falls has become a creepy place in the last couple of hours.
Zombies have "infected" the town.
It's all part of the fun at the Wichita Falls Zombie Crawl and 5k.
They are coming for you.
All different kinds.
A chef and even some with dead animals.
Zombie's have infected Wichita Falls and it's all thanks to the Wichita Falls Zombie Crawl.
An event not seen many places.
"This is just something totally different, you can't find this anywhere else, not in Texas, not in the United States not in the world," said Clayton Lane, the Coordinator of the event.
Different is right.
People dress up as zombies, "crawling" through downtown.
And this year offered a new surprise.
Zombie's broke out in dance during a flash mob routine to Micheal Jackson's "Thriller."
But soon it was the time for the race everyone was waiting for.
"You only get to run from zombie's like once in awhile," said one participant.
A 5k run where people dressed as "survivors" were chased through a course hoping not to become infected by zombies chasing after them.
A reason to run that much faster.
Coordinators say about 700 people participated in this year's zombie crawl, which is twice last year's amount.
