A fugitive conencted to a disturbing Florida child negelct case is now extradited back to Florida, after sitting in the Wichita County Jail for 11 days.

38-year-old Walter Lee Wilcox was booked in on August 13th, after turning himself in.

Florida authorities say Wilcox was wanted in Charlotte County, where he was supposed to be serving probation for the child neglect case.

Media reports indicate Wilcox was arrested in 2010, along with his two brothers and sister-in-law.

Case workers say they found five children under the age of three living in filth.

They say the home was infested with roaches and spiders, trash, dirty diapers and feces.

They also say they found a dead rat under a mattress.

The four were ordered to clean up the home, but authorities say a follow-up inspection revealed the home was still unlivable and the children were malnourished.

Wilcox had an address in Wichita Falls in the 2500 block of Buchanan.
