Man Donates Bicycles to Wichita Falls Students

And some lucky Alamo students also got to ride home from school on a brand new bicycle.

Ivory Howard is the defensive line coach for the Wichita Falls Night Hawks.

Today, he brought ten shiny new bicycles to the school to donate.

And he says the reason for this generous gesture is to honor his father who passed away last year.

"I selected Sam Houston Elementary School last year and this year it's Alamo. Me and several other of my friends. We just pitched in a few bucks a piece and so I just randomly selected and elementary school off the top of my head," says Ivory Howard, who donated the bicycles.

Alamo Elementary's principal distributed the bikes this afternoon through a drawing of students who received tickets for good behavior.
