Wichita Falls police are investigating an overnight shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
The shooting happened Thursday night, just after 11 p.m., on the 4100 block of Thelma Drive.
Sgt. David Ferguson said when officers arrived, a man who'd been shot in the leg was on scene and conscious. He told officers the man who shot him took off in a pick up truck in an unknown direction.
He was taken by ambulance to United Regional. Sgt. David Ferguson said his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
Right now there is no word about what might have led up to the shooting. Police said the shooter has not been arrested at this time.
