Starting Monday, dozens of Texoma women will have a new place to call home.
Following a year of construction, Faith Refuge for Women is finished.
Last week, the public toured the $4.4 million dollar shelter, which can house more than 120 women.
And now that the grand opening celebration has come and gone shelter officials say it's on to the next big step.
"Everyone moves in. People who are already at Faith Mission and people who are on the waiting list to get into this new facility. Move in day is Monday, May 7th," says Faith Refuge Task Force Co-Chair Carol Wagner.
About 40 women are expected to move into the shelter Monday, including two women who are ordered there by the courts.
