Now that Wichita Falls is under stage 3 water restrictions, they discussed spending $75,000 to design and install equipment to get well water to irrigate the fields.

Regents say the project could save msu several hundred thousand dollars they spend each year buying water from the city.

Another discussed item involved several construction projects, including the Dalquest Desert Research Station.

It is a $3,000 acre stretch of natural land in West Texas that was gifted to MSU more than 20 years ago.
