21 Year Old Missing Persons Case Becomes Triple Homicide Case

Nearly 21 years after they vanished into thin air ... it's almost a certainty the bodies of two women and a little girl... have been found.

And now, according to Oklahoma State Bureau of investigation agents ... this will change from a missing persons case ... to a triple homicide.

Tonight, 60-year-old Grover Prewitt, Junior is behind bars in the Creek County, Oklahoma jail on a half million dollars bond.

He's charged with accessory after the fact - murder in the 1st degree.

In May, 1992, 23-year-old Wendy Camp, her 6-year-daughter Cynthia and her 23-year-old sister- in- law Lisa Kregear disappeared during a trip to Shamrock, Oklahoma, to visit Wendy's young son.

OSBI officials say Prewitt concealed the fact the three had been murdered and their bodies dumped in an 8-foot-deep hole originally dug for a septic tank.

Just over a week ago, investigators uncovered remains of two adults and one child.

In March, a relative of Wendy's ex-husband told investigators where to find the bodies.

Clothing still on the bodies match the descriptions given by Wendy's current husband who filed the missing person's report.

Authorities are now waiting on results from dna tests.
