Church Sign Raises Eyebrow

(WSMV) Nashville, Tennessee's St. John's United Methodist Church is at a busy intersection, but when the light turns red and you're stopped, you can't help but see the church marquee.

The sign refers to Jesus having two dads, but it's intent behind the words that the pastor of the church is trying to get across.

"It's about children and people who grew up in homes, extended families, parents that are separated and having stepdads," says Pastor Bill Campbell.

But like anything, it's how you interpret words.

Campbell said he thinks the assumption is that they're taking a stand on same-sex marriage.

"I thought it was eye-catching; didn't realize it was going to be that eye-catching for a lot of people," says Campbell.
