It's the second night the home-made devices were discovered in restricted areas of the airport including near planes on the tarmac.
Last night 3 were found outside the Tom Bradley International Terminal.
One exploded, two others were found intact.
"The fact that someone can take dry-ice, put it in a bottle and blow it up in the international terminal at LAX, which should be one of the safest places to fly out of is very scary," one traveler said.
No one was hurt.
The investigation seems to be centered on an area of the tarmac near the terminal.
The Los Angeles Police Department Bomb Squad has now responded to Los Angeles International Airport two nights in a row after plastic bottles containing dry ice have exploded.
The LAPD criminal conspiracy section is leading the investigation.
Police say at this point there does not appear to be a link to terrorism.
The dry ice bomb that exploded Sunday night was found in an employee restroom.
"It's stupid for one putting anyone at risk any innocent bystanders at risk," said traveler Gary Clark.
The FBI said there has been no stated threat but investigators won't know if this is a prank until the person responsible is identified.
Last night airport operations were not impacted.
