While flu season may be leveling off, the FDA is advising consumers not to buy unapproved flu medications sold online.
Warning letters are being sent to 10 online retailers that are selling so-called 'generic Tamiflu' which is not FDA approved.
The companies are also being told to remove false claims stating their products are the 'most effective alternative to the flu shot.'
While the FDA has not recieved reports of any harm from these medications, experts say products sold on the web could be too strong, not strong enough or contain the wrong drug all together!
