Injured First Responder Responds to West, TX Blast (GRAPHIC)


(KCEN) Several firefighters are still missing following a massive blast at a fertilizer plant in West, Texas.

Waco police assisting on the scene estimated that between three to five firefighters were missing and estimates there will be between five and 15 casualties. 

Sgt. Patrick Swanton said it was a significant explosion and there is, "massive devastation in the downtown West area."

Officials are still searching for victims in homes and buildings at this time. 

More than 100 patients have been treated at nearby hospitals.
