Six Injured in Shooting at GA Fedex Facility


Police in suburban Atlanta say the shooter at a Fedex facility has been found dead - with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

It remains a very active crime scene this morning.

Cobb County Police say the shooting happened just before 6AM.

The shooter arrived at the package sorting facility in Kennesaw and started shooting at people.

At least six people have been injured, one critically.

Employees arriving for work were turned away, and those already on the job were held in a safe area.

Officers kept the facility on lock-down while searching the area for secondary devices as protocol.

Police in Georgia are searching for a gunman after an early morning shooting at a Fedex facility.

The incident happened around 5:45 at a Fedex operation in Kennesaw, northwest of Atlanta.

There are reports that at least six people were shot.

No word yet on their condition.

The suspect, described as a white male remains at large.
