The stage was set for a pep rally, but it would mean even more to kindergarten student Anthony David Garza. Little did he know his father, Army Specialist Anthony Garza, would be there.
Dressed as the coyote mascot, Garza came out on the stage and surprised his young son after more than two months of not seeing him.
"When he saw me, he ran up to me right off the bat and gave me a hug, he didn't wanna let go," said Garza. "I was the same way. The emotions, I mean just not being able to see him for a while just takes a toll."
