Nearly 73,000 drop-side cribs are being recalled. The recall involves 14 models of the PT Domusindo Perdana wooden drop-side cribs sold through the JC Penney catalog and on their website.
The drop sides can malfunction, detach, or fail causing the drop side to fall out of position. An infant or toddler could fall out of the crib or become wedged or entrapped. The CPSC is aware of three incidents. No injuries were reported.
Consumers should stop using the cribs and contact Modus Furniture International for a free immobilizer kit to correct the problem.
