Today marks the 71st anniversary of Pearl Harbor, the day the Japanese launched surprise air attacks on the US.
More than 23-hundred Americans died. There will be a memorial parade in Waikiki. And in New York, local Pearl Harbor survivors will commemorate the anniversary with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, although the museum is still closed due to damage from Hurricane Sandy. This is video of last year's event at the Intrepid.
