If you get an email about a lawsuit against Facebook, don't delete it immediately. Millions of e-mails are going out saying the recipients are getting some money as part of a class action lawsuite against Facebook.
If you received one of those emails, it's real and not a scam. Forbes reports millions of Facebook users are eligible for a small share of a class action settlement against the company.
The lawsuit stems from Facebook's placing of users in sponsored story ads based on things they liked. And the things users liked were often times taken out of context. So Facebook settled the case for $20 million dollars.
But because of the number of users affected, the highest payout is ten dollars.
