What's Next For Apple?
(NBC News) Tech giant Apple announced Monday that it's getting into the internet radio business.
"iTunes Radio" was unveiled to a packed house in San Francisco at Apple's much-promoted Worldwide Developers Conference.
Even though some say Apple is getting into the internet radio game kind of late, its loyal following will likely provide instant competition to the more established Pandora and Spotify.
iTunes Radio is free, with ads, to any user, but ad-free to an iTunes Match subscriber.
The announcement was one of several at the Developers Conference, which also featured featured the unveiling of Apple's new Mavericks Operating System and the latest MacPro desktop, which is being made domestically.
