- (KCEN) Never in her wildest dreams did Donna Beseda expect to call a house in Waco her home.

"He was always happy everyday of his life, with a smile on her face," Said Donna.

Her husband Doug was a West volunteer firefighter.

He was killed in the fertilizer plant explosion back in April.

Together they lived on Davis street in West for 13 years.

Between her husband's death and the stress of finding a new place to live, Donna also broke her arm.

Preventing her from working in her flower shop in West.

"I can be in west for 20 minutes and I'm ready to cry," says Donna.

But there was help on the way.
