WWII Vet Graduates High School 71 Years Late

(WTLV) Jack Koolik is getting his high school diploma after a 71 year wait.

Koolik, 90, will walk with the graduation class of 2014 from Jacksonville, Florida's Danrell-Cookman High School. He left high school early 71 years ago to fight in World War II.

The Veterans High School Diploma Program allows Florida's education commissioner to award diplomas to vets who left high school early to join the military.
