Fort Worth police are asking the public for help to find the driver who hit and killed a young mother, then fled the scene Sunday morning.
Police say Charayla McMillan was struck and killed around midnight on the northbound service road of I-35W in the 8900-block.
Fort Worth police say the car McMillan was riding in stopped because she was feeling nauseous. While leaning out of the car, officers said a pick-up truck hit her and kept going.
"She was just beginning her future," said Michelle McMillan. "She was just beginning to blossom as a lady."
Larry Livingston, the young woman's father, said the 21-year-old was heading home with her boyfriend and boyfriend's cousin.
