Non-Profit Organization Offers Opportunity for WFISD 2nd Graders to Win $20,000

A non-profit organization called Champions for Kids is providing an easy way for Wichita Falls ISD second-graders to win $20,000.

All you need to do is cast an online vote daily for WFISD’s Read2Learn program through Sept. 21.

Your daily votes will give the WFISD program – the one that’s been so successful in helping second-graders read -- a great chance to win a $20,000 grand prize from Champions for Kids.

Champions for Kids is a non-profit organization based in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It exists to provide resources to help children thrive.

In July, they selected the WFISD Read2Learn program as one of the nation’s top seven service projects for children.

But they’ll let online voters decide which of the seven projects is best. And that’s where your votes – one each day through Sept. 21 – come in.

Champions for Kids will announce winners Sept. 22.
