Several students at Notre Dame Catholic School and in the Wichita Falls ISD have earned a big honor -- being recognized by the Duke University Talent Identify Program.
Duke's talent search identifies seventh graders throughout the country who have scored in the 95th percentile or better on a grade- level achievement test.
Those students are then invited to take the ACT or the SAT as seventh graders.
Six students in the WFISD and nine students at Notre Dame Catholic School have earned the recognition.

"It's half of our students, & it just goes to show that they're hardworking and they're dedicated to their work. We're very proud of them."
Notre Dame Catholic School Principal Cindy Huckabee says this gives the students more practice and opens doors for future opportunities and programs.
