Gibson is quoted as saying, it's just a difficult financial time and they will not be closing.
The hospital board will be meeting again at noon on Thursday. One of the two items on the agenda will be an executive session to discuss personnel matters relating to the employment of former administrator Scott Nail.
We have attempted to contact board member Gipson but have not heard back yet. And financial difficulties are nothing new for the Quanah hospital, stories on the finances have been reported for more than a decade.
