Pink T-shirt sales by the Wichita Falls Fire Department are quickly becoming a hot commodity.

Shirts went on sale Monday during the fire department's annual Care Enough to Wear Pink Campaign.

And crews say they've already sold about 600 shirts.

The goal is to raise $11,000 this year, which will help breast cancer patients.

"The profits stay, 75% of them stay here locally for treatments of mammograms for women, so the more we spend here.. the more money that stays here," says Wichita Falls firefighter Larry Wilkinson II.

Fire officials have ordered more shirts so there are plenty to go around.

Shirts are $15 and magnetic ribbons are $5.

Both are available all month long at Fire Station #1 at 1005 Bluff Street and Fire Station #8 at 2000 Southwest Parkway.
