Area law officers were busy this afternoon responding to accidents.
Two women apparently escaped serious injury when the driver of the SUV they were in lost control before it rolled at Highway 79 and Goodman Road, north of East Scott.  Police say the Dodge Durango was northbound on 79, and the rain-slick road probably contributed to the accident.  They say the vehicle is probably totaled.
Then about the same time, a pickup was reported to have rolled at Central Expressway and Spur 325, and also a motorcyclist lost control and ended up in a field near FM 174 and Highway 148 in Clay County south of Joy.
Everyone in these accidents are believed to have escaped life-threatening injuries.
