Concerns over broken handle mishaps prompts a coffee maker recall.

The recall covers nearly 160-thousand of the 12-cup programmable versions of the Black and Decker Spacemaker under-the-cabinet coffee makers.  The manufacturer reports more than 1,200 complaints, including dozens of injuries.

The coffee makers were sold nationwide between July 2008 and May 2012 for about 50 to 80 dollars.  Nine different model numbers are included in the recall.  To see all of these numbers, click here.
