For the sixth year in a row, seniors in the Wichita Falls ISD got a jump start on post- high school life, at the district's "senior sendoff."
Workshop sessions included information on buying a car, renting a house or apartment, making a budget, making career choices, getting insurance, dressing appropriately in the workplace, and more.

"This is just getting a lot of information in one day, so hopefully it will help them when they graduate. Some of them may have already started thinking about these, and others may not. So hopefully this will get them all on the road to success."
About 850 students participated in the workshops ... Which were led by people from local businesses and organizations.
Senior Sendoff is coordinated by the district's Partners in Education program.
