Feelings of love were in the air at the Red Door Senior Center this morning.
Seniors had a day full of fun in a red, white, and pink-clad dining room.  They enjoyed a special Valentine's Day menu and games like a cake walk and the newlywed game.
Organizers say these are people our community was founded on, and the Valentine's Day party was just one small way to show them how much they care.

Kayla Watts of THE Kitchen says, "People love Valentine's Day their whole lives.  Whether they're married still or not, or if they have friends they pal around with, we enjoy seeing them enjoy themselves.  This is a way for us to help them celebrate."
Workers and volunteers at THE Kitchen also made sure Meals on Wheels recipients were in the Valentine's spirit today.  Along with their meal, each recipient also got a Valentine's Day card.
