Texoma Boy Needs Your Help to Get a Diabetic Alert Dog

A Texoma boy needs your help so he can get a special four-legged friend.

10-year-old Tuff has Type 1 diabetes.

So family and friends are trying to raise enough money to get Tuff a diabetic alert dog.  The dog will be specially-traied to alert Tuff when his blood sugar gets too high or too low.

The down payment for the dog has been made, so the family is holding silent and live auctions, as well as live music by Jake Hooker and the Outsiders to help purchase the dog.

Silent auction- starts at 6:30 pm

Live auction- starts at 8:30pm

Admission is $15

It all takes place at the Elks Lodge at 4205 Seymour Highway.

If you would like to help with this fundraiser or donate items to be auctioned off please call Patsy Mayo at 940-636-0934 or Tammie Wooster 940-636-8846.
