Three Arrested after Weekend Police Chase

Three people are arrested after a weekend police chase.

Police say 24 year old Christopher Douglas was stopped at Roosevelt and Gladiolus street for a traffic violation Saturday. They say he drove off and led officers on a brief chase.

Police say he threw something out of his vehicle before getting out of the car and running.

He was arrested and charged on three different counts. He is now out on bond.

Police found 17 year old Andreaus Barkley and 28 year old Kevin Humphrey in an alley off Gerald.

They say Barkley ran, but he was later arrested.

Police say he also threw something while being chased. They believe it was what Douglas threw out of the car, which later was tested positive as cocaine.

Barkley was arrested for evading arrest and Humphrey was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Both remain in the Wichita County Jail.
