On Tuesday, Board Members discussed joining more than 200 school districts from around the State to voice concerns about the amount of time students and teachers spend in the classroom preparing for standardized tests like the STAAR test.
Board members said while a certain amount of uniform testing is good to gauge how much students are learning, there is too much emphasis put on the results.
Board members will decide whether to join the resolution at their meeting on Monday.
