Touring Texoma - Newcastle

    Way back in the early 1850's, Fort Belknap was built in Young County to help soldiers protect settlers from plains indians.

    But, it wasn't until decades later that a town sprang up about 3- miles north of there, one named after a coal town in England.

   Continuing our series, Touring Texoma, Darrell Franklin takes us to Newcastle, where proud neighbors are working to clean- up their historic town.
