WICHITA FALLS, TX - At the Wichita Falls City Council meeting, leaders decided that the city will pay $83,000 out of the general fund reserve to pay for recent damages at the public library.
At the end of February, the fire suppression sprinkler system malfunctioned -- impacting the facility and books in the youth department, totaling $128,000 in damages.
However, the community came together to replace several of the books -- lessening the cost of some of that damage.
