Wanted Man Davontay Johnson Now in Custody

The manhunt is over for a man considered armed and dangerous in connection with a Wichita Falls home invasion in December. 18-year-old Davontay Johnson was taken into custody yesterday by U.S. Marshals in Bessemer, Alabama. 

He is jailed there awaiting extradition to Wichita County. He is one of two men arrested in connection with a robbery and beating on Tammy on December 18. 

Wichita Falls SWAT officers arrested 18-year-old Jonathan Booker at the Washington Village Apartments on February 12. Investigators say Booker and 18-year-old Davontay Johnson are wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery case on December 18th in the 4700 block of Tammy.

Authorities say the homeowner told police he was beaten repeatedly with a gun, and was shot at while trying to defend himself. A witness gave police information that also led to the arrest of 17-year-old Kayla Ward. ward is charged with aggravated robbery. 

And now an 18-year-old woman,  Aaliyah Masha Stevenson, has also been charged with hindering apprension in connection with the arrest of Booker.
