For months, Texomans have prayed for rain, but one Texoma town recently got more than they bargained for.
Jack County received heavy rains Friday night and early Saturday morning and those rains took a toll on the County Courthouse in Jacksboro.
Judge Mitchell Davenport says crews were repairing the roof and only had one-third of covered when the downpour started.
Water flooded all four courthouse floors, but Judge Davenport says no electronics or important documents were lost.
While officials continue tallying u the cost of the damage, Judge Davenport says the construction company will foot the cleanup bill.
