If your kids ride the bus to a school, not in your busing zone, you may need a new morning routine.

WFISD officials say busing to schools of choice will be eliminated for the next school year.

The Wichita Falls school board continues to narrow their plan for the choice program.

Currently they are looking at school capacities to see how to modify the program since they say schools like Rider are overcrowded.

School officials say no matter what if you choose the school you attend and it is not in your busing zone, you'll have to catch a ride to school.

WFISD Superintendent Dr. John Frossard, "It doesn't mean we are doing away with the choice plan, it doesn't mean we are just establishing boundaries and effecting property values and all the things that go with that, all we are saying is we already have transportation zones in place kind of default zones of where you would attend school if you don't make a choice."
